Supporting Acts: Tina Nicole Band The Dropa Stone
Often described as a groovy fusion of rock with rhythm and blues, THE DROPA STONE are known for their powerful live performances and contagious original music. Weaving a landscape of visually-enhancing sounds, the group displays an uncanny ability to meld together distinctive melodies through unique vocals, guitar wizardry, a skillful rhythm section and ever-evolving story telling. Founded in 2007 by Jon Meyers (Vocals/Guitar) and Joe Lederman (Drums), two friends conceptualized a vision and recruited Justin Henry (Lead Guitar) and Will Richey (Bass) to complete the lineup. Mining a wealth of influences ranging from Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd to Soundgarden and Incubus, they have applied their talents to create an imaginative avant-garde sound through a common bond of passion and inspiration. Spreading their musical energy through their latest studio release and a must-see live show, each concert proves to be a unique experience for audiences as the band combines a tapestry of rock, funk, blues and reggae through the art of improvisation. The new lineup debuted on a tour of the west coast which saw them perform at renowned venues such as THE VIPER ROOM in Los Angeles, CA. Jonnie Morgan Band
Known around Orlando as JMB, the Jonnie Morgan Band has come alive to be "the band to see" around town. After years of writing songs throughout college and playing weekly acoustic shows around the University of Central Florida, Jonnie Morgan (rhythm guitar, lead vocals), decided to put together a band in late 2009, bringing in local musicians from all backgrounds and influences in an effort to form a band with a unique, yet unforgettable sound. Matthew Mill, Corey Paul and Jose Rojas the bands trumpet, trombone and Saxophone trio, feed off of each other during live shows bringing high energy hits to Morgan's melodic tunes. Bruno Ufret's (Drums) Modern Rock/Reggae drumming and Brandon Sollins (lead guitar) licks on lead guitar elevates the band's unique sound. Jeremy Adams (bass guitar), studies composition at UCF and has been working with Morgan since 2008 to find the right musicians for the sound they wanted to create. Now, years later, the Jonnie Morgan Band has taken things to the next level releasing their EP Reflections In The Water in September of 2011. They have gained a strong following throughout the Orlando community and continue to spread the word by consistently touring throughout Florida. This collection of talented musicians are the ingredients to what may be the perfect musical recipe; promoting and pushing their sound for the world to hear.
