Carmen Bowman, nationally known culture change leader, will unpack the New Dining Practice Standards in a way relevant to both nursing and assisted living homes. Carmen has turned her former role of regulator into that of educator: She was a Colorado state surveyor for nine years and a policy analyst with the CMS Central Office. She has served as a contractor for CMS on many national culture change projects, including the Creating Home II symposium on food and dining. Under contract with the Pioneer Network, Carmen facilitated the Task Force that developed the new Dining Practice Standards agreed upon by twelve national cilinical standard setting organizations. This interactive and engaging presentation will assist you in making mealtimes work!  CEs/CEUs provided for Administrators, Nurses, Dieticians and CDMsLunch included Florida Pioneer Network salutes our sponsors: The Winter Park Health Foundation Balanced Senior Nutrition LeadingAge Florida Gordon Food Service Hoffmaster professional staff registration 50.00 direct care worker registration 30.00
