Our production of GYPSY by Arthur Laurents, music by Jules Styne and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, will kick off the evening, followed by a reception for alumni and guests. The story of the demise of vaudeville and a domineering mother who inadvertently turns her shy daughter into the world-famous Gypsy Rose Lee, stripper extraordinaire, will delight audiences with its love, tears, laughter, humor, and honesty--and great songs! Based on the memoirs of Gypsy Rose Lee and her sister, actress June Havoc, this story is a classic of the American musical stage that you don't want to miss! Admission $10/$15/$25
