This month the Alafaya Book Club will be discussing "Saving CeeCee Honeycutt" by Beth Hoffman. For years, twelve-year-old CeeCee Honeycutt has been the caretaker of her psychotic mother, Camille, a woman trapped in her long-ago moment of glory as the 1951 Vidalia Onion Queen. But when Camille is hit by a truck, CeeCee is left to fend for herself, that is, until her previously unknown great-aunt Tootie Caldwell comes along and brings her to Savannah.
