Celebrating its fifth year, Rollins College’s Winter Park Institute introduces world-renowned intellectuals and change-makers to the Central Florida community. Award winning paleoanthropologist Dr. Donald Johanson will review clues about human origins now and highlight his discovery of the famous skeleton named Lucy. This year’s headliners also include award-winning director Oliver Stone and American opera singer Jessye Norman.
“For the past five years, the Winter Park Institute has delivered to the faculty, staff and students of Rollins College and our local community exceptional leaders and experts in a variety of disciplines from politics to filmmaking,” said Gail Sinclair, executive director of the Winter Park Institute. “We’re proud to be able to offer these programs as an extension of our commitment to promote high caliber intellectual discussion.”
All events are free and open to the public, and no tickets are required. Parking is available in the SunTrust parking garage at 166 East Lyman Avenue. For more information, visit www.winterparkinstitute.org or call (407) 691-1995, or email mrobinson@rollins.edu.
