Saturday, May 4, 2013 is the Princess Ball ... This magical night highlights the positive relationships between father and daughter.  This year the A. Jones Family Foundation is hosting the Princess Ball and proceeds from this event will support the programs of Harbor House of Central Florida.Held at the Rosen Shingle Creek, the event features entertainment from the Orlando Magic Dancers, Orlando Russian Ballet, pageant winners, along with food, silent auction, professional photography and, of course, many of the Princesses from our favorite fairy tale stories.A major highlight of the evening is the elegant silent auction that features fine art and jewelry, theme park tickets, golf outings, spa retreats, weekend getaways, unique entertainment experiences and other exciting items. Proceeds from this event go directly to support Harbor House of Central Florida. Harbor House's mission is to eliminate domestic violence in Central Florida by providing safety, shelter, counseling,education, legal advocacy and justice. Since opening its doors to survivors of domestic abuse in 1976, Harbor House has evolved into one of the most comprehensive intervention, prevention and advocacy agencies in the U.S. Its 110-bed shelter campus includes a 24-hour crisis hotline, children’s center, statecertified daycare and on-site pet kennel. Inaddition to safe shelter, Harbor House also prepares survivors for re-entry into the community by connecting them to resources that enable them to live safe, independent and productive lives.As domestic violence rates increase in Central Florida, your support is critical.
