The US has surged ahead of China in the medal count. We now have a total of 81 medals, 34 of them Gold. China's earned 77, 36 of them Gold. Russia follows with 52, followed by Great Britain with 48, with Germany moving ahead of Japan for fifth place. 76 different nations now have earned at least one medal!
Ryan Lochte told E! News that now the Olympics are over, he’s looking for a girlfriend. "Yeah, I mean I definitely want a relationship. I want to give a certain someone my heart," adding, "I mean, I just gotta find the right girl." He also told TMZ he didn’t go “sightseeing” at the Olympic Village, he pretty much just concentrated on his swimming, which he plans to do again in Rio 2020 and maybe even beyond that.
