Trace Adkins on Celebrity Apprentice Again Trace Adkins will appear on the All-Star Celebrity Apprentice, premiering March 3rd on NBC. During a press tour, Trace recalled his 2008 run—in which he was bested in the finals by CNN talk show host Piers Morgan—as “one of the most stressful periods of my adult life” because he was “forced to tolerate individuals that I normally wouldn’t tolerate.” Trace revealed that The American Red Cross is the reason he is on the show. “It took my house burning down to get me to come back.” Trace says. The relief organization was there when Trace’s house burned down in 2011 and he wanted to pay them back, which is why he chose the Red Cross as his charity for this season of Celebrity Apprentice beginning March 3rd.
